Nice to meet you!

My name is Sarah Hauber. I work in between the fields of visual art, photography and design.

I create work that is empowering and critical, wanting what I do to have a positive impact on the world around me. I believe in powerful aesthetics, in creating a visual language that offers an alternative to the hyper-commercialized, patriarchal gaze prevalent in our society.

I experiment with blurring the lines between art, activism and advertising.

I work as a visual artist, freelance photographer and designer as well as study at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna (class of Ashley Hans Scheierl/Gin Müller).

In my artistic practice I use various media, from video to photography, installation and jewelry, exploring mostly topics relating to feminism and (online)media. My artwork has been shown in Vienna, Salzburg, Linz and Amsterdam. For my artistic portfolio and full bio click here

As a freelance photographer and designer I enjoy working with clients that share my values of social responsibility and sustainability. Interested? Shoot me a message here
